I'm using Google Chrome and when loading theverge.com, my cursor consistently freezes for a few seconds before resuming normal movement later. What is causing such freezes?

Hello azurerush and welcome to Seven Forums.

I don't use Chrome so these are just some generalized suggestions for erratic/laggy cursor movement.

1. Try deleting your browsing history. Sometimes a problematic web pages is stored and that's the page that keeps getting reloaded.

Delete your browsing history - Google Chrome Help

2. Disable all add-ons and extensions. Re-enable one at a time and check cursor movement. See if cursor freezes with a specific add-on or extension.

3. Open Device Manager and check that mouse is working properly. If a laptop also check that synaptics touch pad is working properly.

   Tip
You can open Device Manager by typing devmgmt.msc into Start Menu SEARCH BOX and press ENTER.
