Using more than one browser
I'm sooo embarrassed to even bring this up.
I use IE 9 but keep reading good things about FireFox & would like to give it a try but keep IE during my trial of FF. How is this done?
Thanks,
grits

Hello Grits,
No worries. You can install Firefox and still use both browsers at will.
The only thing you'll need to decide on is which one to make as your default program used when opening a URL link. However, you can still change the default program to be either one at will as well.
Hope this helps, :)

I use 3 myself, IE 9, FF and Chrome...each has some pro's and con's.
For that, you would need to open FF, then open The Weather Channel. You wouldn't be able to open The Weather Channel into FF from within IE or vice versa.
What I meant for "either one at will as well", is that you could set either one as the default program to open website shortcuts from say your desktop to taskbar with the default browser you set. Basically, you can change the default program whenever you like. :)
ok, to get me started, which version of Firefox would you recommend to a newbie? I'm 'technology challenged'.
No problem. You could just download and install the latest version at the link below. :)

Have tried several times to download it but it won't. That yellow box that usually pops up at bottom of window starts to show, then disappears. Probably something I've done wrong in IE settings??
Try this:
Download Firefox 17.0.1 - FileHippo.com
Click on Download this version in upper right
