Windows 7: Windows 7 contacts "OUTLOOK"

Windows 7 Ultimate x64,

Windows 7 contacts "OUTLOOK"

I have just decided to clean up my contacts in this NEW OUTLOOK, what a load of POO. Why is windows trying to hold on to everything, on the old contacts it was easy, on this you have to go round the block to find that the contacts are still there. When MS has a winning formula is it really necessary to have to stand on your head and whistle up your pants leg to move to the next phase.
Please "DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO DO THIS CHORE" cos i've lost the pea from my whistle.

Hi,

To open the contact list, you will find it next to the "Type a Contact to find". If you place the cursor over it address will pop up. Select who you wish to delete, and press the delete key on your keyboard and it is gone.
