How to delete e-mail files on Windows Start Search Bar?

So basically whenever I search a word on Windows Start Search bar, all my emails that associate with that word show up as a file, many that are supposed to be deemed private and confidential to me...... I tried to delete it but it wont let me so I was wondering if anyone has the same problem or knows how to fix this.... Been stressing over it for so long! Thank you!

The only way to make it stop is by changing this setting:

    1. Right-click the Start Menu
    2. Choose Properties
    3. Click "Customize..."
    4. Scroll down and look for "Search other files and libraries" (it has three radio buttons)
    5. Choose "Don't search"
    6. Click OK
    7. Click OK

The only problem with this is you will also no longer be able to use the Start Menu search to pull up individual files and documents.

This is the extent of my knowledge. I'm hopeful that there's a way to do something with the e-mails themselves (or the e-mail program) to exclude it from these search results.
