Stopping Google from logging on when I access my Gmail account

Hi Everyone,

I am using a Gmail account with Google Chrome (browser). Whenever I log into my Gmail account I am also getting logged into Google in general. When I look at my Home Page after logging out of Gmail I see that I am logged into Google.

Is there anyway of either making Chrome not log me into Google in general when I log into my Gmail account, or otherwise setting Chrome so that it signs me out of Google when I sign out of Gmail?

Any help here will be greatly appreciated.

Kind Regards,

Davo

Hi Davo, I tried the same thing with Firefox and failed, but did manage it using FF portable.
I use Windows Live Mail (signed in with a Hotmail account) to read my Gmail, & I use WLM calendar.
