    Help with IE error

Right i had a problem with my computer before, had some minor malware and i fixed it, but then i recieved this error message.

    INTERNET EXPLORER HAS STOPPED WORKING

    Problem Event Name: APPCRASH
    Application Name: iexplore.exe
    Application Version: 8.0.7600.16869
    Application Timestamp: 4e4f21db
    Fault Module Name: KERNELBASE.dll
    Fault Module Version: 6.1.7600.16850
    Fault Module Timestamp: 4e211485
    Exception Code: e06d7363
    Exception Offset: 0000b9bc
    OS Version: 6.1.7600.2.0.0.768.3
    Locale ID: 2057
    Additional Information 1: 0a9e
    Additional Information 2: 0a9e372d3b4ad19135b953a78882e789
    Additional Information 3: 0a9e
    Additional Information 4: 0a9e372d3b4ad19135b953a78882e789

And this comes up roughly every 30 seconds and its driving me insane. If i leave it, it just adds more and more causing my computer to overheat.

Ive Google'd the problem and none of their solutions have worked.
I dont even use IE at all, so i dont know why im getting this message.

Would uninstalling IE help? If so, how do i do this? The option isnt there for the normal process.

Ive spent the last 4 hours trying to get rid of this and im 1 step away from smashing my computer to piecs and getting a new one out of sheer frustration.

Infact, while ive typed this the error message has come up 7 times.

Ive restarted my computer, nothing, tried changing windows notifications to never tell me about things, doesnt help.

Any help would be greatly welcomed, as would a swift response.
    Thanks.

Yes, ive tried to reset. All it says is "Before you can restart Internet Explorer Settings, you must first close all other open windows and programs" But nothing else is open

As your using another browser, IE can be disabled by going to Control Panel > Programs and features and click 'Turn Windows features ON or Off and untick as my image.
