Windows Live Mail Encoding Settings
I would like to know if it is possible to select one single default encoding for both incoming and outgoing letters. I have been using UNICODE UTF - 8
but when I write in Spanish some of my correspondants claim that they receive my messages garbled and difficult to read because the accent in certains words have been replaced by computer's signs, the letter Ñ in
Spanish is also replaced by signs, etc...etc.
Sometimes I also receive messages where the words are garbled with signs, but the solution for me is simple. I go to Encoding and select the
encoding that will solve my problem. But my friends either they do not use
WLM and perhaps the Encoding is not in the menu, of their incoming mail screen, like it is in mine, or they do not know how to solve the problem.
Therefore they expect me to send them my messages in Spanish readable to them. Will appreciate any advice on this matter.
