    Address Bar Changed

for some reason my address bar now goes from the left all the way to the right of the screen, and thus the refesh/stop/search icons are all the way on the right.

up until then, the address bar only spanned about half way across.

    u changed no display settings.

any idea what i cold have done to change this?

    thanks.

What browser are you using? I would go ahead and uninstall and reinstall it. Is there anything else wrong that you can see?

Hmmm.... well I have no idea at all about IE. Haven't used it in ....... ever I guess:). Have you tried a system restore to a point before this started?

    Hello Jimlau,

You should be able to just drag the right border of the address bar to the left or right to whatever length (size) you like. The tutorial below is for IE7 and IE8, but it can help give you more details about this in IE9 as well.

Windows Explorer Address and Search Bar - Change Size

    Hope this helps, :)

I don't use IE much, but I just played with IE9 and for me:
The address bar is re-sizable if I have Tabs on the same row.
If I click "Show tabs on a separate row" the address bar is full width, and not re-sizable.

Internet Explorer - "Show tabs on a separate row" - Turn On or Off
