IE9 prompts to run scripts or activex

    Good morning,
Im running Win7 64. IE9 patched up to date. I installed two programs that assist with World of Tanks data. I normally do not take a chance with something like these stand alone programs (Dokaninstall was one of them, the other I unstalled and dont have the download anymore). Since installing these, most pages loaded into IE give the option to allow scripts or activex controls. This didnt happen before. Ive unstalled the programs, restarted the pc, it still gives me the popup that I am concerned about. Any ideas why this should suddenly have started?

    Hello SGarv,

You might see if also completely resetting IE9 back to default may help.

    Internet Explorer - Reset

    Hope this helps, :)

Please try again, but have it delete your personal settings to completely reset IE.

If it still doesn't help, then you could do a system restore using a restore point (if available) dated before this happened to undo it.
