    FireFox 19 Java?

I am test driving FireFox 19. So far can't get any vids to play. In addons Java deploy and Java Platform is enabled. Something is blocking. Any ideas?

Do you have Adobe Flash Player plug-in & Shockwave Player in FF addons?

I had an issue with FF 19 and Java where there seemed to be a memory leak that caused several blue screens. I could have my browser open, streaming videos to my TV and navigating through the system in windows explorer, and my RAM usage would go from about 3GB to 6GB and sometimes more for no reason. Also, when I closed everything out, the RAM usage would NOT go back down to normal. I finally just uninstalled all instances of Java, and used Chrome for browsing and haven't had any issues since. Not really related to the OP, but something I thought I would put out there since I'm almost positive it was a problem with FF 19 and Java.

    No Problem Yet

I had to uninstall and reinstall. For some reason the first install had bugs in it. The UI wasn't right and a couple of other things. The second install came out what appears to be good. I haven't had any blue screens or mem problems that I am aware of yet.

I like FF. This is the first time I have used anything but IE. The reason for the experiment is IE10 does not render (correctly) a sight that I need. IE9 has worked for that sight in the past and now it won't render it. The problems between the two are different.

IE9 will do it if I can find the correct settings. The problem lies here somewhere. You click on a link and I believe you are directed to another site which is going to load a PDF (in a new window). I never get the window for the PDF. It has worked in the past and I have another machine that is still working.

Thanks for the tip on FF. I will be on the lookout for mem problems.
