Slow page loads on all browsers and wired/wireless

    Hi,

I've been having trouble loading Web pages on my netbook the last week or so. When I type in an address, the page will start to load. But then it crawls along for 10-15 sec until the tabs show the page is ready. Navigating within a site the load time won't be quite as slow, but if I click an external link the sluggish load returns. The problem happens on both wired and wireless connections. My connection is100Mbps through ATT Uverse. Other computers don't have trouble with speed though. So there must be an issue in my system.

At first, I wondered if it might be a virus; so, I checked it out at Malwarebytes. The only things they found was a possible Trojan host file, which we deleted. I uninstalled AVG Antivirus and Spybot S&D and replaced them with MS Security Essentials to save on program memory. Then I updated the LAN and wireless network drivers. I tried updating the graphics driver too. However, none of it made any difference

I'm at the end of my rope in solving out the problem. I looked at some other posts and tried the suggestions. They didn't help much though .

If someone could please help me figure out a solution, I'd greatly appreciate it.

    Thanks!

Hi MaB1Day2, welcome to Seven Forums.
Try clearing your browser's cache including flushing the 'DNS' & rebooting your router if it's ON 24/7.
