    Most recents updates applied.
    Office 2010 Outlook

    Problem:
When email is opened and a weblink in the email is clicked

    Microsoft Outlook 2010 responds:
    General error.
    The URL is: http://www.blablabla......
    Class is not registered.

    Consequence:
It is not possible to open a website from the email.

    Tips/advise to solve issue appreciated.

Welcome to Seven Forums Wim44. Try this:

Start> In search box type Set your default programs> Enter> When the list loads, click on Internet Explorer> Choose defaults for this program> Under Protocols section check the boxes next to HTTP and HTTPS> Save> OK

Restart your PC. See if that works. A Guy

    Thanks for your response.

I had already done this, without success.

I solved this problem, by upgrading IE9 to IE10.
