I don't get a message that a pop-up blocker prevented me from posting to the website. I just see a message that there was an error. The firefox toolbars are all acceptable.

Is there such a thing as a pop-up block running outside of a browser?

can you give us a screenshot of the error message. is it the same error on both browsers?

also, you can download processexplorer to look at your running processes. this will show more in-depth information than the taskmanager in windows: Process Explorer

If it is running outside of the browser then it would be process running on its own.

Like a program that was downloaded maybe bundled with other software (these 'programs' are 'meant' to help people by providing services that you didn't request, don't need and didn't know were being installed) so they are bundled with other downloads so you don't have to request something you didn't know you didn't need... sorry /rant

You can post a screenshot of the processes here and we can look to see if any of them are know programs

I think I just figured out the problem and it wasn't a technical issue at all, just something quirky at the website. Thanks to all of you very much for your time - sorry to have taken your attention with a non issue
