    Web page address 3 bar icons


    After doing a website search In IE10 there are green and grey coloured 3 bar icons at the back end of most of the address's. What are these for and can I switch them off?

    Normally the green is for HTTPS which is secure

    Yeah they might be https addresses.

    But post a screenshot of that window. We'll get better clarity.

    for instance my hotmail is https and shows up like this

    That's just Avast's version of WOT (Web of Trust)
    If you want to get rid of those bars, go into Avast, Settings, Cloud Services and uncheck Reputation Services

Greetings, I had been using IE8 forever and now I am using IE11. When using IE8, it had the option to make icons larger, which would also make the search address bar larger as well. I don't see the option to do that with IE11. Has this option been removed or do I need to go change it...

Hey everyone. I've ran into a problem that I can't quite figure out. My internet connection shows 'no internet access' even though my ISP shows the connection is coming into the house just fine. I usually use a router (NetGear-WNR3500U) but I right now I have the Ethernet connection plugged...
Most of the icons on my desktop are partially covered up. Looks like a white page with the top corner turned down. Inside the page is what looks like the old Windows 3.11 Window with 6 tiny icons inside the window. Tried everything I could find in Control Panel... How can I make these go...
