    An add-on failed to run

On some sites I get a pop-up that says "an add-on failed to load" or something like that. Is there anyway to tell which add-on IE is talking about?

    Possibly,
If you have the Command bar in your page view/ Right click above the browser bar and click on Command bar,
    Click on Tools/ Toolbars/ Disable add-ons,
There might be a listing of problem add-ons.

Even the listed add-ons will show how long it takes them to activate,
Did you notice the timing ?
Open Event viewer/ applications and services and internet explorer see what it shows.

Check whether you blocked any sites in your browser.

I get that on many sites and just x out of it. It is a site issue and not yours.
