    res://ieframe.dll/acr_error.htm error

If I let IE sit on a webpage for awhile, it will eventually error out with this error in the address bar:

    res://ieframe.dll/acr_error.htm#[webpage]

It will do it for any webpage, even sevenforums.com..

    How can I fix this?

    Try this

Start> In search box type Internet Explorer (No Add-ons)> Enter

Navigate to a page that causes the problem and see if it stops occurring. If it does, suspect an add-on, I would update flash and java especially if they are not (they should be for security reasons in any case). If that doesn't help, try disabling add-ons and see if you can isolate one.

Internet Explorer - Enable or Disable Toolbars and Extensions Add-ons

You might also try re-registering the dlls associated with the correct version of IE. You can use Capn. jack's IE restorator

SF IE Restorator - Troubleshooting General Issues with IE

Pick the correct version for your OS and browser version.

You can also try resetting IE. I tend not to suggest this as the 1st thing, as it might not be necessary.

    Internet Explorer - Reset
