explorer 10 certain pages fail to load.

I have been having trouble on my pc with explorer web pages failing to load. Some sites work others don't. When I click on some site it will come up with the name in the tab and the circle will just keep spinning and page never loads. This is on any browsers I try, explorer, chrome, firefox. I thought that ccleaner may deleted something important. So I even reformatted my pc. work ok for a day maybe then the problem is back again. My laptop has no issue with any pages. If it wont load on desktop I can pull laptop out and open site up fine. Any ideals? I have flush dns reset internet settings, reconfig ip. Could it be my network card failing?

    Some sites that wont load

adobe.com.... tab say waiting for adobe. hit stop tab has adobe icon blank page
Honda-tech.com... just get spinning circle. hit stop icon for site in tab page blank
    truckforums.com . same as above.

    just a few to list

Try running the site(s) that won't load or load properly in compatibility mode. I had that problem with too many sites and uninstalled I.E.10 and went back to I.E.9.

In I.E.10, click on Tools then Compatibility View and see if that helps those sites.

I have tired that. Before I did a reformat I had I.E 9 after the reformat I went to 10. But it doesn't help changing it to compatibility view.

Since it was happening with other browsers too (does that still happen after the install?) that suggests a possible network issue. Did you reinstall the ASUS network drivers after the install?

After I did a reformat everything worked for maybe half a day before it started doing it again, And yes I did install all my asus drivers. Should I get a new network card?

The network card is on the motherboard (right)?

Reinstall any motherboard chipset drivers and then the network drivers again. See if that helps.

Do you have another RJ45 (network cable) that you can try between the PC and the router? Also, if you have a router between the PC and the modem, go direct to the modem and see if that makes any difference.

If you RIGHT click on the icon for the network in the lower right (notification area) then click on troubleshooter it may find the problem.

As of right now installing the MB chipset driver seems to have worked. I will let you all know for sure in a day or so if it is fixed and doesn't mess up again. Thank you so much for the prompt advice fireberd

That fixes a lot of problems. One of the main things the chipset drivers do is identify (define) all the devices on the motherboard. :)
