Run AdwCleaner and this time click Delete . It will restart the PC .

    :ADDED:

    I'd remove Spybot - Search & Destroy RevoUninstaller .

@VistaKing: I gave the instructions to remove Spybot s&d above from their link .... why would you use Revo instead?!

After you've run AdwCleaner and deleted the "koyote soft toolbar"
You can reinstall Spybot s&d and set your hompage.

Microsoft takes over homepage in I.E.9

Jacee - Before I totally uninstall Spybot, would you mind explaining why it must be uninstalled and is it the cause of my home page redirection?
In future then, I should not reinstall and use Spybot on my PC (it might do it again)?

Will do the ADW Cleaner using 'delete' right away.

PS - I used Iobit uninstaller as the Revo free was not compatible with windows 7 x64 and the Iobit didn't need to be installed either.
    Thanks

You may download the RevoUninstaller Pro. Its a 30-day trail though . I personally have the regular version on my x64-bit machine without any problems.

Spy bot is a horrible application.

Microsoft takes over homepage in I.E.9

Sorry, I have to ask one more que. before proceeding because I don't want to mess up.
Should I be uninstalling Spybot first before I run that ADW Cleaner again?

I had Revo free installed before but a box would appear saying that Revo may not have been installed properly so I uninstalled it. Also in searching I read that Revo free didn't work so well on 7x64. But if you say it works on yours, I will install it again.

Because it is past midnight here now-- & by the time I install Revo and all, will have to finish this tomorrow if that is okay.
    Thanks heaps!

I uninstalled Spybot (but still not sure why) and reset my homepage & hopefully it will stay put now.

Thank you very much for your help VistaKing & also to Jaycee, but I must say that it was a tad confusing with conflicting directions (uninstalling).
