    windows mail restore

Could anyone please advise me the Dell technician replaced the screen and then the mother board on my six month old computer. He then couldn't get windows to open so he ordered me a replacement "C" drive incase the data was lost and reinstalled windows 7.
I put the old "C" drive back in because I thought it would have the old stuff on it but it is the same as the new one, other than a OSH or something drive. Its probably obvious to most (other than me) why they are the same. The data seems accessable from the "E" back up drive.
Is there any way to find my old emails from wiindows mail from one of these drives Ie the old C drive or the backup E.
And is there a way to retrieve the data from backup E to the new C drive.

    Thank you.

Further if I have a windows image backup from before the computer stoped working can i use this to reinstall everything and would I need to delete all the new information on the c disk partition first?

as for your first question, did you make a live account? like john@live.com
If you did and you log into windows live mail all the emails (as long as you did not delete them prior should come back

If not I am not sure how to do it other than hopefully someone else will answer you soon
