What differences are there between Windows mail and Windows live mail?

    As was correctly stated, w7 has no native email shipped with it. Maybe some OEMs installed one as an add-on though.

    In order to send and recieve email you must go online to your selected email service and fill out the forms they request and agree to the terms.
    I have chose two. Microsoft Outlook/WLM and one offered through my I.S.P. Just because someone has found a folder or file named Windows Mail does not mean you can send and receive email.

    Thank you so much, but as you know if a folder containing files and folders would be added with installing windows Windows, and there aren't program specified for these folder and files to be used with it. So this folder 'windows mail' would be redundant.

    I really searched 'windows live mail' after installing a clean install of a windows and before installing any programs, I found these:



    But these have no related to Windows mail folder in that path I have post my very first post at all

    These 'windows live mail' shown above , on the other hand, are shortcuts in my favorites folder.

    Besides, we all know that 'windows live mail' is associated to Windows live essentials, not widnows mail.
