    Folders missing in IE 10

When will MS fix the problem with missing folders? When I try to upload images to my Wordpress blog I cannot find the image folder. I have to copy and paste the photo I want to My Documents in order to accomplish this task.

The folder shows in My Documents but is missing when I hit add images or add files. I found that by disabling the protect mode I can see the folder, but I am leery of doing that.

This is not a new problem, and I am still looking for a fix. Come on MS....get on the ball.

    See if this helps,
Libraries - Hidden and Empty Fix
The issue is usually a sign of malware,

Of course Mcafee has a long record of setting files as hidden after editing them...what security suite do you use ?

This just started happening when I was forced to download IE 10. It's not malware... I have used Norton for years, and I know I am not the only one dealing with this problem.

As a test you might try these two options,
Drag one of the mysteriously missing folders to your desktop and test.
Second would be to Re-name one of the folders where it exist and test.

The problem with renaming is that I use this folder for my website/blog, and renaming it would mean changing a helluva lot. will try the desktop thing though...

You can also create a shortcut to it or add this folder to your favorites and see if either of these help ?

When will MS own up to the problem and fix it? It only started when I was forced to upgrade to IE 10. I am not the only one with the problem.

And creating the shortcut does not work either....it still does not show.

Yeah I noticed tis with IE10. Unfortunately downgrading back to IE9 does not get them back either. Although it is an IE10 problem as it is the trigger that causes the issue. My word IE10 is really poor and buggy. I have seen so many problems across many, many forums. All I could do to fix it was copy the missing image folders, delete the original folders and then rename the copy to the previous file name. A slightly long winded way of doing it but it works as pic folders are now viewable when you go to upload. Any new folders added going forward are fine.

There is no way I know of to explain the issue all I can say I don't have the issue or Norton,
Once upon a time Mcafee was setting files as hidden after simple basic edits were made/ People blamed windows....everyone but Mcafee,
So where is the Bug ?
    I don't believe ie10 is the culprit.
I also have never used or downloaded Firefox/ no need.
