    Close all browser windows,
Click the Start button and type in the search box,
    internet explorer
    Click on No Add-ons suggestion,
Or it's also located at Start button/ All Programs/ Accessories folder/ System tools folder/ No Add-ons.

    Hello techtitan,

If your IE9 works fine in no add-ons mode as posted above, then one of the add-ons you installed is causing the problems.

You could test this by disabling add-ons one by one and run IE9 in normal mode until you no longer have this issue to find the culprit, then enable the add-ons that were not the cause again.
    Hope this helps, :)

i haven't tried it yet, but today it seems to be working fine now even with add-ons enabled the only things enabled on IE9 are the Adobe Flash Player and the Yahoo Toolbar

That's great news. Hopefully it was only a temporary glitch. :)
