    Slow internet browsing

I all of a sudden have slow internet browsing after getting messages for java updates. I disabled the Java add on so I don't get the message anymore but the browsing using either IE or Google is slow. I deleted temporary internet files and cookies and checked with my ISP. I ran malwarebytes scan and deleted all virus. It's still slow. Any other suggestions?

Lets see what is running on your PC

    Click on Download Now button

When the download is complete . Drag the DDS program from the Downloads folder to your Desktop

Double click the DDS icon on the Desktop then click the Run button to run the tool.

Place a check next to attact.txt and click Start . When done, DDS will open two logs
    • DDS.txt
    • Attach.txt

Save two logs onto your desktop and upload them with your reply

    Upload a File
Click on the Go Advanced button under the Message box . Scroll down to Additional Options then click on Manage Attachments in the Attach Files sections . Click the Browse button locate the file then click on the Open button . In the Upload File from your Computer section click on the Upload button . Wait until it finishes uploading then close the window . Then click Submit Reply .

What's it like in other internet browsers such as Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox?

    Try removing your network and connecting back to it;
Go to Control Panel, click Network and Sharing Center, select Manage wireless networks, in here, select the network and click Remove.

Now try connecting to the network in the notification area icon button.

The tool runs on both 32 and 64 bit .

To check which one you have do the following

Click the button and right-click Computer .Select Properties .Look for System Type: which will say 32-bit Operating System or 64-bit Operating System

I recently added 1 person to the network. This should not make it slow, correct? It has not before.

More then likely no unless they are making really big file downloads all the time.

So your test to see what's running on my PC is not relevant if I get good speeds when I connect directly to the cable modem, correct?
