when I save something to favorites, many times I don't find it in the main favorites folder instead there are created sub folders also called favorites and it is in one of them?

You simply right click on the favorites bar and uncheck Favorites bar and it will disappear.

Slow down when you save a favorite and make sure it does not go into a folder, it should not do that unless you tell it to.

A favorites bar is very handy to view the sites you go to a lot.
