Avast Mail Shield Security Exclusion
Hi: Now this is most weird! Am using Avast Security Suite on this PC. Everytime I go to WLM I get this mail shield thing from Avast. The little box with 'view' in it says: This certificate has expired or is not yet valid...issued to wm Shaw.ca...Issued by Verisign class 3 secure server ca G-3. Valid from 10/07/20ll to 10/07/2013. At the bottom are options - 'install certificate' & 'issuer statement'. For the years having used Avast, never have I experienced this.
I'm sending & receiving mail and also back & forth from my laptop to my desktop and seems to be working fine.
I have no idea what to do about this as I know nothing about certificates. Is this a security risk and what do they mean by 'store this exclusion'?
Some help in resolving this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
