many hyperlinks won't open in IE9

Acer Aspire laptop. Windows7 homepremium. IE 9. Loaded updates today.

Many links, prior to today and continuing today, won't open upon left clicking in IE.
They will open in Firefox. I can copy them with right click.

Click on Download Now button

When the download is complete . Drag the DDS program from the Downloads folder to your Desktop

Double click the DDS icon on the Desktop then click the Run button to run the tool.

Place a check next to attact.txt and click Start . When done, DDS will open two logs
  • DDS.txt
  • Attach.txt

Save two logs onto your desktop and upload them with your reply

Even your "DDS" link wouldn't open.

TY for your effort.

Eventually, ran it. Found no instructions on attaching file, so here is the c&p. SYS said 'too long'. Trimmed the end portion:

Your tutorial is built around the paper clip icon.

THAT DOESN'T WORK. Neither the icon nor the drop down arrow responds to left clicks; nor is there a link to copy.
There is nothing in the tutorial that I can navigate from in IE 9.

Do all those errs copied above, from the end of the attach file, mean anything?
