Cannot get rid of Detla Search

    Hi.

I have seriously issue with Delta Search und Chrome, that I cannot get rid of.

I reinstalled Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit, in the hope to get rid of it for ever, but had not luck.

I can tell you, that the only partition I removed was C:\. D:\ is the same as before, but with Everything running, I cannot see Delta Search anywhere. Maybe I serach for thewrong name ?.

Below are 3 screendumps, that shows what I see. Also it is what Chrome people recommend for removing Delta Search. I cannot find instances as can bee seen.

How can I get rid of the crapware ?

Darkhorse, When you downloaded and installed chrome, were there some blocks that you did not uncheck that installed the search? Also when you said you re-installed Windows, did you format the C drive so that there were not any crapware still hanging around?

Try using revo uninstall. To uninstall all of chrome and it's roots and then reinstall without checking the delta box if there is one. Or Revo might see it in the programs. Some times Chrome has settings for disabling these in the settings boxes.

Just did use Revo Uninstall. I did not see any possible delta box. I have shown the settings boxes in my first thread.

I will try to install Chrome again

I installed Chrome again after it's removal with Revo Uninstaller.

The Delta Search are now back again.

Can it be someting hidden in my Google account, that came up when I log in the Google ?.

It could, but the installation should not proceed in stealth mode.

There are number ways that one can get rid of Delta search, even if one continues using Chrome as the primary browser. Look at this site, that lists a number of ways for removing Delta Search...

I have Chrome and don't see anything in reference to Delta Search. What is it?

Also when you used Revo to uninstall Chrome did you use it in advanced mode? tell it to scan for left over roots and select all then delete ?
