    Windows 7 Live Mail - att.net

    Hi support,

I have Windows 7 Live Mail and have 3 email accounts set up.... two works and the att.net email does not receive and send emails although my settings seem to be ok because when I delete and recreate the account, all the emails get downloaded but NO new ones come into the mailbox.

Unable to send or receive messages for the Email - ATTnet account. Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity.

    Server: 'inbound.att.net'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC0F
    Protocol: POP3
    Port: 995
    Secure(SSL): Yes

    Please help

For the Outbound Server do you have outbound.att.net

    OutBound Server Port is 465

Place a check for both Server requires a secure connection ( In Advanced Tab )

I do have both setting configured properly

    inbound.att.net Port 995
    outbound.att.net Port 465

    I also have SSL checked.

I also have the red one checked.

    Logon using clear text authentication
    Logon using secure password authentication
    Logon using authenticated POP (aPOP)

I personally do not think it is the settings because I have another att.net email and that one works fine... So it might be something more than just the settings...... it there a limit on the email download -- because it is about 8000 messages.
