Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC0F

Why doesMicrosoft Windows Live Mail keep throwing up the error message shown below? This happens at sporadic intervals whenever I am logged in to it, and when there is absolutely nothing wrong. I just click the message and it disappears only to return 30 seconds to a minute later? Whilst the message is showing I am not able to use my email program, so it is very annoying.

    Hi Raven74,

    Change port 25 to 465 or 587.

Thanks Roadrunner. I tried these settings, but no change. SMTP set to 587 or and my pop3 set to 25 or 995.
Earlier I had tried to run Repair, which ran ok, but failed to solve the problem. Then I uninstalled windows Live Mail, then reinstalled Windows Essentials from Microsoft.
Exactly the same fault still occurs. I am running Windows Home Premium with 64 bit software. This fault only occurred after the upgrade from 32 bit software. I wonder if this is the base of the problem?
