Were you able to boot normally after the repair? If so, I would download and scan with ADWCleaner

So this is the update. So apparently Im unable to repair startup because it took half a day and it still didn't repair. Soim getting a blue screen upon start up. So I decide to reinstall windows. So I stpick in my windows CD and went into the bios and put it to boot from CD. when booting from the CD it says "windows is loading files..." and then the screen prompts:

Windows has occurred a problem communicating with a device connected to you're computer.
Then says this error is due to removing a usb while I in use.

Status : 0xc00000e9
Info : an unexpected I/O error has occurred.

Do you have any other bootable cds? Linux live cd's, etc.? If not, do you have the ability to burn one? I'd try to see if you can boot to another bootable CD. This almost sounds like a corrupted CD, is it the Original installation media you received with the computer, or something you burned? Have you used the same cd (DVD?) successfully before?

Is the File listed in this text the same file in your error?

Quote:
Windows has encountered a problem communicating with a device connected
to your computer.

This error can be caused by unplugging a removable storage device such as an external USB drive while the device is in use, or by faulty hardware such as a hard drive or CD-ROM drive that is failing.

Make sure any removable storage is properly connected and then restart your computer.

File: \windows\system32\boot\winload.exe
