Local State.TMP in google Chrome file
Wonder why Google Chrome has endless Local State~RF1ab586.TMP type files?
I found a couple of hundred of these files.
Since they are Temp. how can I clean them up?
Where are they used for?

Is this a portable version of Chrome? The Local State files store your Chrome settings including extensions, etc. You shouldn't have many of this file. Suggest you list the files by date, and you can safely delete all but the latest one. You can actually delete them all, but chrome does use that file. A Guy
Hi Guy
No it's not a portable version.
I've thrown them all away except today >30 MB stuff.
It seems to run normal so I leave it that way.
Can always put them back in case something is missing.
Thanks for the reply.
Windows has always been sloppy with leaving myriads of traces or register-strings.
