GOD I hope soon. Seriously!

Though I'm not sure if adding WebGL support will be a good thing, as we all know MS had good reasons to keep it out of IE.

Thoughts???

Don't install it. Just... Don't even try.

I did, and regretted it completely. Just wait for the beta so that we could have more fun and less frustrations
I had to re-read this post again to see what you were getting at...

developer preview = beta 1

consumer/customer preview = beta 2
With that, yeah I'll wait for the customer preview; diffidently don't need to experimental phase blues

Thanks

IE 11 on Windows 8.1 RTM is still a preview, and MS is charging customers for a BETA software. Not good.

No, they are charging for a complete clean install of Windows 8.1

Upgrading from Windows 8 is free.

I might download the Developer Preview for IE11, IE is not my primary browser so I'm not that bothered if it doesn't work properly. I'll report back on my opinion soon.

Just installed IE11, my first impressions are the UI is almost exactly the same IE10, but the rendering doesn't seem to be good at the moment. I do prefer, the rendering of the text in IE11 for posts on this forum than IE10 though.

Any webpage notification message boxes, seem to be quite rushed though and very basic:

I can't see any problems with the Facebook Chat.
