Pictures not loading right on chrome [pic]

    Hi guys,

SO. As you can see in this picture, it seems like there is something wrong with my graphics card driver. Or Maybe not, maybe it's chrome is the thing that has something wrong with it. I happen to re-install all my graphics card and things like adobe, java, web plugins, chrome... and I still manage to have these weird looking pictures, looking like they can't load. I've ran antivirus / malware scans, everything is clean. really pissing me it's weird that this only happens on chrome. perhaps that's just to show how chrome can get shitty at times?

    any simple advice is appreciated

    Cheers,

    Felipe

You say this happens only in Chrome, not in IE or Firefox for instance? Try opening an Incognito tab and see if the same thing happens there.

Click on the menu icon upper right Pictures not loading right on chrome [pic]-tools.jpg and choose New Incognito Window (or key combo Ctrl+Shift+N)

This will open a windows with all extensions disabled so you can test to see if an extension is the cause. If the picture displays normally in Incognito mode, you will have to figure out which extension is the cause.

Click on the menu icon Pictures not loading right on chrome [pic]-tools.jpg > Select Tools> Select Extensions> Uncheck the Enabled checkbox for the extension you'd like to temporarily disable

Let us know how it goes. A Guy

Try this tutorial by koolkat77 and see if you get the correct rendering with GPU acceleration off: Chrome GPU Hardware Acceleration - Turn On or Off

I was going to suggest that, but it is off by default, and he has reinstalled Chrome. Worth checking though

@ A Guy - I tried ingcognito and it works fine.

@theveterans - I disabled it, restarted Chrome, but the problem still here.

Then you have an extension causing that issue. Follow the method in my 1st post. I'd disable 1/2 the extensions, if the problem goes away, it's one of those. If the problem remains, re-enable that 1/2, and disable 1/2 of the rest., etc. If this is a new problem, look at new extensions 1st. A Guy

Hmmm, not sure what all Incognito mode disables besides extensions. Try disabling plug-ins one by one

Open Chrome> In address bar type

    chrome://plugins

    Enter

Plug-ins page will load, click on Disable to left and try again. Suggest always closing and opening Chrome each time before testing.

When you click disable, the text will change to enable. You can use that to re-enable if needed. A Guy

Ok. Thanks for bringing me to that page (plugins), turns out my Adobe Shockwave Player wasn't updated. But i did update? i dont know. i updated it though and hey the problem seems to be fixed now.

Thank you folks so much. I guess it was something simpler than we thought.

    Again thanks

Problem fixed itself, or fixed after Shockwave update? Either way, as long as it's sorted, and now you know where everything is
