Asked about this before and got it working, at least for a while. I have a IMAP account with a little known email provider and outlook automatically creates a set of folders like inbox, sent, etc, all the common ones. And these are not associated with any account. It creates a whole other set for my account. No idea why it wants to do that, but in any case the accounts folders are all collapsed and i already asked how to keep them expanded and nothing i was told works so i then asked how i could get the emails i get to go from the account's inbox to the unassociated inbox, for lack of whatever the proper term for it is. I was told make a rule. So i did. And it seems to work sometimes, sometimes not. For example, theres a email in my account's inbox right now but it's not showing up in my general inbox. the reason i want it to is i have more than one account and i want them all to go to one inbox. I realize i can make my account's inbox a favorite, but thats not an option since i want both my accounts to go to one inbox.
