Windows live mail slow in changing storage folders

I recently updated my Windows Live Mail from 2011 to 2012 via "File Hiipo" update service.. When I was using 2011 everything was working ok and switching between email storage folders was very quick. Now with version 2012 things have slowed down especially when opening a different email storage folder.....can take up to 5 seconds. I have tried the Microsoft Mr. fixIt to no avail.
Is it possible to roll back to version 2011 without affecting any of my saved storage folders? I know that I can export these folders to another drive for re-importing etc. Also, contacts can be re-loader via my Microsoft Account. I am looking for a quick fix....maybe a reg. dword change??
I experimeted by doing a Windows 7 64 bit "upgrade" from my factory install disk. This helped quite a bit, however, a few other problems cropped up and I re imaged my original Win 7 that I had backed up using Macrium Reflect.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
