I would suggest try it and see for yourself that's the only way to know if it's right for you.
I was able to install it in Windows 7 64-bit in VMware be careful even though I had unchecked all the unnecessary stuff it wanted to add it added Apple Software Update anyway.

Be aware that Apple is no longer developing Safari for Windows and there have been no updates since May 2012. There will be no newer versions and no security updates.

Safari is no longer supported for windows. The last version is from May 9, 2012. Safari 6.0 alone patched 121 vulnerabilities that were present in Safari 5.1.7! The 5.1.7 update also included automatic disabling of old versions of Adobe's Flash Player that they consider as not having the most up-do-date security features. Just be aware, if you use Safari, you are using a very insecure browser, and it has a problem with a continuously insecure addon that is always tops on known attack vectors. A Guy
