IE 10 saving history

How can I stop the history and favorites from displaying when I click on the search bar? I have saving the search history to 0 days. I don't know how I had the settings before but when I would type in the search bar it would only display sites I had visited and it would display Google suggestions. It would not display anything else such as the favorites or the history.

I had to reset IE settings due to other problems I was having and now that those problems are fixed, I have this annoying problem. Can someone help me please?

This is actually a feature of Auto complete not History although they seem to be the same,
Even Zero days will show you your history per-session,
Internet options/ Content/ Auto complete button Uncheck the options you prefer/ all if necessary.

Run command not saving history
My Run command doesn't save the history of commands entered. I was told the registry was missing some commands and the only way to fix it is to create a new user account. The problem is I have tweaked a lot of settings the way I want them and it would be a lot of work to redo them. Is there a way...

Remember start->run history, but not program history
Is there a way to have start->run history kept while not keeping a history of the recently launched programs from the menu? I know under the properties you have "Store and display recently opened programs in the Start menu", but this is what controls both. I'm figuring theres probably some...
