I used the uninstaller from Adobe. Worked like a charm. Check the ver in the registry and every thing looks up to date.

I am still using IE8. My sys is working so good I really hate to upset it with a Beta.

I spent six hours off and on last night trying to install the updated version for my XP. :cry:
The page would load and IE8 would not keep the page open or would lock up.
Twice it gave me a download of the OLD version.
Uninstall again!!!!!
Opened Taskmanager when it would lockup and it had two Adobe pages running.:mad:

I found your link above and had it installed in less than five minutes including reading the page.:party::party::party:

but after installing new flash 64bit version my pc freezes...only mouse is working..after clicking nothing else is working.. :cry:
