Live Mail url links not clickable

My dad is having an issue that just happened recently. If he goes to chrome and copies a url and pastes it into windows live email message its just text; not clickable. If he does it through another browser like IE its clickable. He said nothing has changed. Used to be able to just paste the url and send it and the recipient would have a clickable link. He loves chrome, can't stand IE so any help would be appreciated.

Why not use this as he will not need to copy and paste it will open email page with a clickable link already inserted into email. https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/email-this-page-by-google/dbeoemfhkdniadbojeencpkgmobndpai

If you use the Bookmarks bar, you can also easily add a Send link button to it

Google Chrome: Add a Send Link Button to the Bookmarks Bar

I believe this is a problem with IE11. Windows uses the browser for its formatting in lots of areas of the O/S. I have been trying to get a solution for about a week or two now.

We have a business which sends lots of emails each day and have template emails set up for most enquiries. I noticed that after updating to IE11 the template emails which had links in would no longer show as links when pasted in to a new email in Live Mail!

There was a similar formatting problem with IE9 were paragraphs were not showing correctly.

The only fix I have found so far is to roll back to IE10. The problem I have is that IE10 is not working properly on this PC and so I am not able to use this browser any more.

Here is a thread on Microsoft's forum about it:

    http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windowslive/forum/livemail-email/windows-live-mail-can-not-copy-hyperlinks-from-one/41da90e6-1099-4f65-898a-a6663be53a40

Despite the moderators saying they cannot recreate the problem it still seems quite widespread!
