Closing individual internet screens

My wife and I both use Windows 7 Home Premium. If I want to close an internet screen, I am offered a choice between closing the visible screen, or closing all open screens. My wife, however, gets the message on her computer: 'You are about to close [2 or more - all those that are open] screens. Do you wish to proceed.
How can I adjust her settings so she is offered the same options as myself?

Not sure how to solve your problem. But alternatively I would close (x-out) the individual tabs on the tabs bar.

And what is an "internet screen"?
Is it a tab or a window?
Posting an image of the issue will help, so people here trying to help you can see what you see.

This would apply to Internet explorer of any version,
Remember to use Okay/ Apply/ and Okay again if changes are made.
