yahoo web mail browser and theme prompts won't go away

I tried to get yahoo help but all i get are other people complaining about the same thing with no answers. Every time i log into yahoo mail i first get a prompt to update my browser. Then i get rid of that and it prompts me to choose a theme. Then finally i can get to my mail. And even if i do those things it keeps prompting me. Tried clearing cookies and all that. Anyone know the fix?

You neglected to say which browser is being used and which Version ?
Usually Update your browser is a residual effect of using Compatibility view and the site doesn't recognize it as comp-view,
In Internet explorer you would see this Icon Blue when comp-view is activated,

In another instance you might of manually added Yahoo.com to your Comp-view list which removing it will help in that case,
In ie11 you would need to rid Microsoft comp-view list being Auto downloaded,

The above link is recommended to do in any version of Internet explorer/ they only delay loading of the sites.
