Unable to uninstall IE11, install did not complete

    No worries. We already do that and also externally use Browserstack, however we needed to install IE11 locally :)

    I believe it may be what archer posted, I wasn't watching at the time but was definitely command-line based and dropped the browser back to the previous install which was the default IE*.

    After searching at many sites , your post worked perfect .
    I have an application which is not ready for IE 11 .
    An I was not able to find the "Uninstall updates" on the programs section .

    My issue was slightly different. I had recently upgraded a windows 7 pro 32bit IE 8 machine to service pack 1.
    After the upgrade, and many updates, IE 8 was still installed and IE 10 and IE 11 were getting install failures.
    I tried many things that were recommended on the internet, but your "forfiles" command was the only one that worked.
