Mike,
I'll have to check on the ios and I'm pretty sure he took the pics himself, no forwarding.

Robin,
I'd be willing to bet he has a skydrive account, its the simplicity of going directly from the phone to a text msg that's valued.

Speaking of simplicity, my dear wife reminded me that we have two other relations that use ATT and they have absolutely no problems in sending us pic's or short video's to either of our phones or gmail.

All,
There has been no response from my post at Spiceworks.

I had thought this may be a problem with my brothers' phone, but take a look at this thread, specifically this post, now I'm not so sure: https://community.verizonwireless.co...024322#1024322

Troubleshooting

1.) When I try to send a multimedia message, why do I sometimes receive a text message that states it canít be delivered?
As of 3/29/13, phones that donít support multimedia messages wonít be able use the online album service to view them unless the recipient already has an active online album account. If the recipient doesnít have an active account, the message wonít be delivered and youíll be notified by text message.

We were never notified by text message that the msg never went through.

Sending and Receiving Messages

1.) Can I send pictures and videos to an e-mail address?
Yes. Simply type the email address into the To field of your deviceís messaging application.
Note: Multimedia messages addressed to Vtext.com email addresses (e.g., 5555551234@vtext.com) will display as standard text messages. The 160-character limit will apply, and photos, sounds, other graphics or videos will not display. We donít recommend sending multimedia messages to Vtext addresses.

I've never heard of Vtext, and I don't think my wife's' phone is set up that way either.

Before this gets too complicated, I'm going to approach my brother with Bill's link and setting suggestions. There are some similar suggestions in the link I offered after my reply to Robin, but I know my brother won't be putting up with too much bull in order to get this to work.
