How can I fix my IE10 after that update from IE11

There's no need to apologize whatsoever. I said from the get-go I wasn't a comp geek by any means at all...and I don't pretend to be either...but I do ask questions when I'm not understanding some things...and while it might be easy for some it's not that easy for me but I try...I might have the wrong wording or something but eventually my brain figures out how to get it out so others understand me

I'd like to post a pix for you but I just reset it. Wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. Nothing has come back up on my screen yet as I know it won't take effect until I restart my IE. But should I restart my laptop all together now?

Looks like the reset worked...I have to run for now so I can't play with it right yet but I'll let you know how it goes tomorrow. Thanks for your help & I'll touch back tomorrow to follow up

Well I got to play with it a bit this morn and it totally looks better than it did 2 days ago that's 100% for sure. I didn't even have a front page let alone any color to it or headers...pretty much everything lol. So it was a good choice to reset it. Although I do have some questions with it now.

Now that I reset my IE I checked to see if I had any new updates this morn and I didn't. I also have the lil box inside the "About Internet Explorer" that says to automatically update it...I don't have that lil box checked...And I don't have it checked because if I do it'll update to IE11 and that's where my problems began...or should I check it so it updates to IE11 now that the bugs are fixed like you said and see how it goes...?

But before I forget I truly want to Thank You for helping me with my initial problem and resetting my IE...I honestly appreciate it

Personally, I like to leave it checked so that I don't have to remember to manually check for updates. :)

Well if I check it now it's going to give me a ba-zillion+ga+million more updates on top of IE11...and I'm afraid I'll have those problems all over again...

But...even tho I reset my IE and it looks good again...I have IE10 and I believe that's the one that's not secure anymore for browsing...and there are no patches for this according to what I'm reading...So I can either go to IE9 or up to IE11 and pray the bugs have been worked out. I'm not seeing any other choices unless you do...

If you like, create a restore point first, then install your Windows Updates for IE11.

If it goes south on you, you could just do a system restore using that restore point to quickly undo it.

Ok...sounds good...now when I do this is there something that I need to look for specifically to install just IE11? Or am I just updating everything...

You'll just be installing all of your Windows Updates. Included in them should be one for IE11.

Ok...and you said earlier that they fixed all the bugs in IE11 when it first came out is that correct?
