    MSN problem...

Ok, my friends MSN account got hacked by someone and that someone sent me a link (which I didn't check, since it looked like it was my friend and not the hacker) and when I have clicked on it, the demon from scary movie 2 and a screaming sound in the background appeared in my browser.

I'm posting this to ask, if there is any way at all that there could be any spyware or any other type of viruses transfered on a computer this way(for example, that hacker knows now even my password) The website is hax2maxclan.tk OPEN AT YOUR OWN RISK.

To be safe I would run a full virus scan in safe mode and a Malware scan too. I would also recommend that you change your MSN password as soon as possible.

Ok, my antivirus is currenty scanning my computer. Are these passwordstealers somehow recognizable, just in case, if one is found.

The computer scan has finished (Avast antivirus scaned in normal mode, not safe mode) and it didn't find anything.
So am I safe, or did I get an undetectable hack?

If you don't already have it I would download Malwarebytes the free version and do a complete PC scan with that if that turns up nothing I guess you are clean.

    Download here Malwarebytes.org
