    I don't use FF much, but that simply looks like the Add Ons Manager, it's not requiring installing. It's telling you what is available, I think.

    the only thing on the extension tab is our anti virus protection details, that's on my machine.

    now the wife's machine has:

    the details of our virus protection

    lookinglink 1.0.0

    savelink 3.2

    settings manager5.0.0.11471

    that's it

    I think you are right no malfunction just being different.

    That Get Add-on page is just showing some recommendations or featured add-ons you do not have to install any of if you don't want to, it's almost like advertisements.

    Some add-ons will be suggested based on detected programs installed on your system. Unless you and your wives systems are identical, that would explain the difference. What type of network, whether it is an admin user, etc. could also explain the difference. A Guy
