    Unhide windows mail folder

    Hi,
Whilst playing with win 7 and trying to get the windows mail working I have somehow hidden the windows mail folder in program files. I was copying the mail folder from vista to win7 but needed permissions or summat and whilst trying to figure out how to allow permission to overwrite I somehow hid the folder
    Any help appreciated Please.........

    Cheers Ian

    Hi Cush & welcome

In your explorer Window press the Alt key, you'll see a little toolbar appear near the top of the window.
Click on Tools > Folder options.
In the View tab, scroll down until you see 2 radio buttons under Hidden files & folders. Check the appropriate one, Apply, OK.

    Hope this helps :)

Edit: Right click the folder once you've found it and choose Properties, Uncheck the Hidden attribute, Apply > OK.

You can also type .eml in the start search box. When you see an envelope icon, right click on it, then click on "open file location".
