| windows 7 1 posts | Lost email messages in upgrade I bought windows 7 professional because I wanted the xp option. I expected to keep all important stuff. Installation to upgrade Vista home premium required the installation to be full rather than upgrade. No warning was given that I would loose all my email contacts and messages. Is there any way to recover them? |

| Windows 7 Ultimate RTM 52 posts | Don't know how valuable your lost email messages may be to you, but if they were "really" important or valuable, you might consider this program by a Microsoft MVP who has been working on email problems for more than 10 years. Is there any way to recover them? I had the same problem. I attemted my reapir immediately so I had better results than you probably will but anything that you recover is a plus. The app I used is called Recova and it got back abt 98% of my emails in correct format. Its easy to use and free. Hope this helps Ken |
