can not manage addons/search engines on IE11

    Good day everybody.

Running ie11 on windows 7, about 2 weeks ago I could not manage addons or search engine, enable/disable are not accessable. I removed avg that made me crazy with avg isearch and installed microsoft security essential, also checked using spybot search and destroy and other spyware checker with no luck. so I don't believe I am recently infected.

I reset IE also with no luck.

Other web browsers I forced to use is google chrome and firefox working fine with addons.

    Please help.

    Thanks.

    Hi,
Did you use the avg uninstaller ?
    http://www.avg.com/us-en/utilities
Add the Run box to the Start menu list or use Winkey +R to open it,

Open the Run command and Paste this into it and Okay,
    iexplore.exe -extoff

    Hi,
    Try using Clean boot,
    https://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/179159-troubleshoot-application-conflicts-performing-clean-startup.html
Also refer to your Uninstall a program list for odd listings you can post screen shots if you wish too,
See the link above my signature picture for details,
    Cheers.

If you are not comfortable editing the registry, do not attempt this. It is advisable to have a system backup, or at least a registry backup first.
