    Hello Kryptonit3,

True, but I have moved WM from Vista to Seven. Worked in build 6801 and also 6956.
    Try this post. https://www.sevenforums.com/general-d....html#post4890

If that doesn't work, more complicated method here. https://www.sevenforums.com/general-d....html#post2017

Just hope it works in the final release as I'm not a fan of Live Mail.

I'm attempting to run Windows Live Mail. I got my two email accounts set up, but now when I try to run it, nothing happens. I've checked the processes and programs but nothing is there. Anybody else having this problem?

Also I forgot mention that that to use the program, Right click on the WinMail.exe file and send a shortcut to the desktop then rename it to Windows Mail.

Then go to you start button and right click on the startup folder and select properties then location and click on find target and move your short cut to that folder and then click on pin to start menu.
Took 2 tries for me to overwrite the files, but now it's setup and works! Mad props! Thanks a ton!

    Goodbye Vista!

Managed to find a fix to make Windows Mail default.
I've rebooted and it is still showing as default.
